Sealants Designed to Outperform Conventional Anodize Solutions
Luster-On Products’ AS-900 Series sealants for anodized aluminum coatings are designed to outperform conventional anodize sealants such as nickel acetate and hot water.
Luster-On Products’ new AS-900 Series sealants for anodized aluminum coatings are available in both liquid and powder forms. AS-950 and AS-950L are designed for Type II and Type III clearcoat applications, while AS 990 and AS 990L formulations are for when the Type II anodize films must be dyed and must meet the nitic acid leach test. All products in the series are designed to outperform conventional anodize sealants such as nickel acetate and hot water, the company says. They also comply with RoHS, ELV, WEEE and REACH, and meet or exceed Mil-A-8625F, Types 1C, II, IIB and III, Class 1 and 2 specifications.
Luster-On’s laboratory also provides free monthly analysis for users.
