AkzoNobel Powder Coatings (Reading, Pennsylvania) has developed a comprehensive range of ready-to-ship (RTS) powder coatings range specifically for the North American market. The new range includes AkzoNobel’s powder coatings brands, Interpon and Resicoat, and is said to be ideally suited to serve urgent coatings projects where quality and speed are essential. The range reportedly comprises approximately 500 unique powder coatings, with a broad variety of premium quality colors, textures and finishes.

The range is designed to meet a wide set of application needs across diverse coatings markets, including automotive, architectural, functional and industrial. The range includes unique chrome, metallic and matte finishes with enhanced textures. The range also includes new technologies to suit additional substrates such as low energy cure, wrinkle finish and monocoat metallic.

Alan Alex, North America commercial director of AkzoNobel Powder Coatings, says, “After much research into our customers’ needs and expectations, we are confident that this range delivers the perfect combination of product performance and service convenience.”

According to the company, over 300 products within the RTS portfolio have OEM approvals and match the industry color standard.
