Two new associates join the operations teams of finishing company Linetec. Tim Sager has been named director of operations, responsible for all finishing operations and facilities. Reporting to Sager, Luke Kroening has also joined as operations manager of paint production.

Headquartered in Wisconsin, Linetec is an Apogee Enterprises brand and a finishing services provider for architectural aluminum products. Linetec says it offers a single-source solution for paint coatings, anodize and specialty finishes, plus value-added services.

Sager brings nearly 20 years of manufacturing experience to his new role. For the last 10 years, he worked with Wausau Window and Wall Systems, and most recently served as director of operations. His previous roles included engineering manager, field service manager and manufacturing manager.

Prior to moving to Wausau, Sager worked for Milwaukee-based Johnson Controls as a manufacturing engineer at various site locations around the country. He earned a Bachelor of Science in engineering technology from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

Drawing from 25 years of industry experience, Kroening manages paint production, application and operation. This includes liquid, powder and specialty coatings such as textured terracotta and spattercoat finishes for aluminum and packaging and crating.

Kroening and Sager previously worked together at Wausau Window and Wall Systems, where Kroening served as manufacturing manager.
