MicroCare, a provider of specialty chemicals and critical cleaning products, has been named a Best Place to Work in Connecticut for 2023. The annual award, which is given by the Hartford Business Journal, recognizes companies that have created and fostered great workplace environments for employees.
The Best Place to Work in Connecticut Award is determined through a two-part process that evaluates company policies, practices, demographics and a survey completed by employees. The combined score determines the top companies in the state. The award was presented at a special event provided by the Hartford Business Journal. MicroCare says it is honored to receive this recognition.
“Being named a Best Place to Work in Connecticut is a testament to the dedication and positive outlook of our employees,” says Tom Tattersall, CEO at MicroCare. “We are a supportive and inclusive team that works seriously but has fun. We believe that our employees are our greatest asset, and we strive to create an environment that fosters their professional and personal growth.”
MicroCare offers its employees a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental and vision insurance as well as a 401(k)-retirement plan. The company also offers flexible work schedules and opportunities for professional development and advancement.
“We are proud to have built a culture of respect, collaboration and innovation,” says Heather Gombos, vice president of business operations at MicroCare. “Our employees are encouraged to share their ideas and feedback, and we work together to continuously improve our workplace.”
MicroCare says its commitment to bettering society extends beyond the workplace. The company supports charitable initiatives and partners with local organizations to make a positive impact on the neighborhoods where it operates.
“We will continue to invest in our employees and strive to create an environment that supports their success,” Gombos says.
