Trogan Florida Powder Coating is expected to bring 30 new jobs to Bradenton, Florida in the next 60 days as they set up its manufacturing equipment in a 97,000-square-foot facility.
Bradenton.com reports that its parent company, Trojan Powder Coating in Bay Shore, N.Y. on Long Island, decided to open a Florida facility because several major clients are in the area including PGT in Venice, which makes impact-resistant windows and doors.
From Bradenton.com:
The firm is a member of the American Architectural Manufacturers Association and is a certified applicator and coater of resin-based powder coatings. Materials can also be specially treated to look like high-end wood grains, marbles and granites. Faux finishes can be applied to window parts, doors, handrails columns, wall panels and furniture.
Any steel or aluminum part can be painted with the environmentally safe paint powder process, Troiano said.
“We make it look pretty,” said Troiano, who is making regular trips from New York to set up the new plant in southern Manatee County.
Plans are to hire an initial six people when manufacturing begins in October and then up to 30 in the next three to four years, he said.
Troiano said Manatee County has approved incentive money for the facility’s opening here but Sharon Hillstrom, associate director of the Manatee County Economic Development Council, said Thursday she could not comment.
As a Products Finishing Top Shop, this company’s success with offering a variety of finishing services would not be possible without its employee dedication and the pride that’s been instilled in them to produce quality products for its long list of customers.
