Harold G. Jacklin, owner of FM Callahan & Son Inc. (Malden, Mass.) passed away on January 6, 2021 at the age of 87.
FM Callahan & Son Inc. was started in the basement of Jacklin’s great uncle, Fred Maurice Callahan who passed the ownership to his son Ernie. Jacklin worked for the company throughout high school. After earning a Masters in CPA Accounting from Bently College and starting a CPA business with his father, Jacklin assumed ownership of FM Callahan with the passing of Ernie Callahan. At the helm of FM Callahan, Jacklin introduced new systems to conform to new EPA regulations and led the company to NADCAP certification in the 1990s.
Jacklin is survived by his wife of 62 years, four adult children and ten grandchildren.
