In this episode of Products Finishing’s On the Line podcast we’re celebrating one of top-ranking shops in this year’s Top Shops Benchmarking Survey – our annual program designed to provide shops with helpful data for measuring their performance. This year’s top-ranking shop for the electroplating and anodizing category is Triplex Plating of Michigan City, Indiana.
Founded in 1939, Triplex is one of those family-owned plating shops that has stood the test of time. The company specializes in zinc plating, and has barrel and rack plating capabilities. A prime example of how the Top Shops program works, Triplex used data from last year’s survey to make improvements that they credit with helping them qualify for this year’s award.
Jesse Baldwin, chief operating officer for Triplex, recently sat down with an interview with PF to talk about the company’s processes, environmental practices and its formula for success.
