ASTM B368 (CASS) and ASTM B117 Testing
What is the correlation, if any, between B368 and B117 salt spray testing?

A. I am not aware of any data that correlates the results of these two salt spray tests. It would seem to me that you would have to develop the correlation between these tests and that it would depend on the type of parts being tested as well as the finish on the parts. If one of our readers has an answer to this question, I would like to hear from you.
