Powder Coating Institute Accepting Applications for 2025 Scholarship Program
The Powder Coating Institute is accepting applications for the 2025 Scholarship Program to assist students studying in subject areas that can lead to a career in powder coating.
The Powder Coating Institute (PCI, Lakewood Ranch, Florida) is accepting applications for the 2025 Scholarship Program. Designed to assist students studying in subject areas that can lead to a career in powder coating, the program awards funds in conjunction with member companies that donate a minimum of $5,000 toward a corporate-named scholarship.

Each year since its inception, the number of applicants and scholarship money awarded through the scholarship program has grown due to PCI member support.
This year, the program will distribute funds from the PCI General Scholarship as well as eight corporate-named scholarships:
- The PCI/Axalta Scholarship
- The PCI/Gema Scholarship
- The PCI/IFS Coatings Scholarship
- The PCI/Nordson Ken Kreeger Scholarship
- The PCI/PPG Scholarship
- The PCI/Sun Polymer Scholarship
- The PCI/TCI Powder Coatings Scholarship
- The PCI/Therma-Tron-X, Inc. Scholarship.
To qualify the candidate must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student, enrolled in a fall 2025 program and meet the criteria listed on PCI’s website. All applications must come through the PCI website no later than March 14, 2025.
PCI will award scholarships from the general fund and eight separate corporate donor scholarships of $5,000 each. The applications will be compiled by PCI staff and sent to the scholarship subcommittee for review and selection of each corporate scholarship and the PCI general scholarships. A representative from each corporate donor company serves on the scholarship subcommittee to select their applicant.
