Color Variance in Ceramic Media

The clay matrix is primarily a mined product and color variations are normal. Some companies add dyes, such as blue or green, to the clay to give specific product identity. This is an expensive feature, and the practice is not as popular as it was in less competitive days. Color variations should not affect the quality or performance.
