I think you may have mistaken the coating system to which K.B. was inquiring. I think this person wants information on composite EN/Teflon coatings, which are deposited using an electroless nickel plating to which Teflon particles are added. The final coating is composed of ~20-40% Teflon particles distributed throughout the nickel plating deposit. PF ran an article on this in August, 2002. T. P.

Oops. Being the columnist for powder coating, I assumed that he was talking about applying Teflon over plating. After reviewing the PF article you referenced, I agree that the question should have been forwarded to the Plating expert and not me.
