Heraeus Acquires Vulcan Catalytics Systems

Acquisition of Vulcan Catalytics expands the process heating portfolio from Heraeus Noblelight to include both gas and electric heating systems for industrial applications.

German-based Heraeus Nobelight has acquired Vulcan Catalytics Systems, a Rhode Island-based manufacturer of catalytic infrared heating equipment and powder coating ovens.

 

The acquisition of Vulcan Catalytics expands the process heating portfolio from Heraeus Noblelight to include both gas and electric heating systems for industrial applications.

 

Mike Chapman, John Martin and key personnel will remain with the company, supporting existing customer base and developing new markets.

 

“Vulcan Catalytics and Heraeus share a common goal: to consistently exceed customer expectations,” said Chapman, president of Vulcan Catalytics Systems. “Joining the Heraeus network will offer us numerous opportunities to introduce our products and expertise to new markets.”
