Question:
Where can I find information about stripping electroplated deposits from different base materials? M. M.
Answer:
The only publication that is currently available that contains this type of information is the Metal Finishing Guidebook & Directory.
There is an older book, Practical Electroplating Handbook, by N. V. Parthasaradhy, that has an excellent section on stripping of plated deposits. It has been out of print for at least 10 years but you may be able to find a copy on www.amazon.com.
