Question:
In the July 2001 issue you wrote about thermochromic paints. I am also searching for a thermochromic material that meets these specified requirements. Is there any chance I could get in contact with the sender of this message or could you give him my e-mail address? K.D.
Answer:
According to my policy I won’t give you his name, but since you asked, I will give him your e-mail address. I know that ambient temperature materials exist because at a family cookout on Labor Day, one of my granddaughters was wearing green fingernail polish. When I said to her “ yuck,” she dipped her fingers in a cold drink, and the polish turned blue. I still had a problem finishing my hot dog. To date, no one has come forth with any suggestions. Can anyone help?
