DeGeest Corp., Lesta USA Expand Offerings

DeGeest Corp. (Tea, S.D.) has announced the acquisition of the North American rights to patented technologies and equipment from Eurosider (Toscana, Italy). The partnership makes widely accepted finishing automation solutions from Europe available to manufacturers in North America. Eurosider technology was formerly available through Coating Delivery Technology (CDT), which was recently acquired by DeGeest.

“Think of this partnership as The Power of Three,” says Derek DeGeest, president of DeGeest Corp. and LestaUSA. “We’ve been partnering with Lesta and its self-learning robotic technology for years so it’s exciting to add Eurosider to the mix to be able to bring a well-rounded solution to more customers.”

Eurosider’s Nitrotherm and Polifluid technologies use nitrogen as a carrier instead of compressed air to deliver a more consistent finish to liquid and powder finishing applications respectively. The solutions eliminate variables such as temperature and humidity in the finishing process and deliver up to 30% on system savings.

“Manufacturers can add Nitrotherm or Polifluid to their existing manual operations today with zero interruption or change to current processes,” says DeGeest. “Eliminating variables is an important step in preparing for full automation later when technology such as Lesta robots can be added to be able to finish more parts without hiring.
