Horizon Performance Technologies Acquires Perceptive Industries
Perceptive supplies industrial ovens to the metal fastener, coatings and thermal processing industries throughout the USA, as well as international metal coaters.
Horizon Performance Technologies (Waukesha, Wisconsin), an OEM that designs and manufactures ovens, washers and material handling equipment for the heat processing and finishing industries, announces the acquisition of Perceptive Industries Inc. (Plainwell, Michigan). Since 2002, Perceptive has supplied industrial ovens to the metal fastener, coatings and thermal processing industries throughout the USA, as well as international metal coaters.
According to Horizon, this acquisition further expands the company’s product line and geographic presence. The Perceptive product line is said to be complementary to Horizon’s existing industrial oven and washer product lines for the metal finishing industry, thermal processing and industrial cleaning lines. Horizon holds several patents in the thermal processing field that have proven to save electrical and natural gas operating costs.
