Two Industry Leaders Join ChemQuest as Directors

The ChemQuest Group appoints two new directors with extensive experience in chemistry and global leadership to support various strategic initiatives.

The ChemQuest Group (Cincinnati, Ohio) appoints two new directors, Michael Henningsen, Ph.D., and Graeme Roan, Ph.D.

An industrial chemist, Henningsen developed global leadership experience over a more than 30-year career with BASF. Initially joining BASF AG as a lab manager, he became director of global product development for the

intermediates division of BASF SE. Henningsen studied chemistry at the University of Hannover, where he earned his doctorate, and Imperial College, London. 

Roan is a global strategy and market manager with a history of implementing innovative marketing strategies for technical products in the specialty chemicals sector. Most recently, Roan served as global strategy and market manager for Synthomer. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Strathclyde and a doctorate in chemistry from the University of Nottingham.

Both Henningsen and Roan will support clients in ChemQuest’s Business Strategy & Transformation, Technology Development and M&A Advisory Services pillars. In addition, Henningsen will also work with projects related to Operational & Manufacturing Efficiencies.
