Preformed Spray Scrubber Simultaneously Removes Solid, Gas Particulates
Bionomic Industries’ Series 9000 preformed spray scrubber is designed to simultaneously remove solid and gaseous particulates from dryers and other processing operations.
Bionomic Industries’ Series 9000 preformed spray scrubber is designed to simultaneously remove solid and gaseous particulates from dryers and other processing operations. A fine-droplet-scrubbing-liquid spray zone within a confined involute section eliminates bypass of untreated gas. A fully open, cyclonic entrainment removal section without internal droplet-removal components increases reliability and decreases maintenance.
According to the company, the scrubber consumes less energy than a venturi scrubber, is designed to meet PM 2.5 and PM 10 regulations for particulate in the 1-5+ micron range, and is available in sizes to handle gas volumes from 1,000 through 75,000 cfm.

NASF/AESF Foundation Research Project #122: Electrochemical Approaches to Treatment of PFAS in Plating Wastewater - 9th Quarterly Report
The NASF-AESF Foundation Research Board selected a project addressing the problem of PFAS and related chemicals in plating wastewater streams. This report covers the ninth quarter of work (January-March 2023). In this report, we describe our work on evaluating the performance of PFAS degradation by electrooxidation using surface fluorinated Ti4O7 anodes in batch mode.

NASF/AESF Foundation Research Project #122: Electrochemical Approaches to Treatment of PFAS in Plating Wastewater - 10th Quarterly Report
The NASF-AESF Foundation Research Board selected a project addressing the problem of PFAS and related chemicals in plating wastewater streams. This report covers the 10th quarter of work (April-June 2023). Here, we examine the effect of surface fluorination of Ti4O7 anodes on PFAS degradation performance in terms of energy performance as well as formation of chlorate and perchlorate when chloride is present in the solution.
