Axalta Coating Systems, a leading global supplier of liquid and powder coatings, has announced the expansion of its powder supply capabilities in the Southern California region. Axalta’s new local delivery service provides daily deliveries expanding as far north as Oxnard, California and as far south as Fontana, California.

This new service will focus on increasing the powder coating offerings – such as Alesta, Nap-Gard, and Abcite brands – that are available in areas with a higher Axalta customer population.

“We recognized that our customers needed powder delivered periodically during the week,” explained Bill Owens, Axalta’s Southern Regional Manager, Powder Coatings North America. “By offering a dedicated delivery service to this area, we hope to better support the needs of our job coater customers.”

The new delivery offering is designed to help ensure that customers receive the products they need faster and more effectively. Axalta’s dedicated truck services a 50-mile radius consisting of four routes in the Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas. Using a climate controlled, 26-foot refrigerated, Axalta branded truck, this additional offering is intended to help Axalta increase its customer support on the west coast.

In addition to the delivery service, a new full service public warehouse has been established in Commerce, California that includes added storage, order processing and inventory control services.

Axalta powder coatings are used in many different industries such as decorative, architectural, and agricultural, and are available in a variety of technologies for numerous applications. These products are designed to provide superior coverage, transfer efficiency and provide more effective coverage in less time.
