What is a good method for cleaning internal diameters of parts?
Q. Can you suggest a method for cleaning internal diameters of parts? The outside of these parts clean easily using a process that we have developed. Any suggestions? –A.M.
A. Because your message indicates that you have no problems cleaning external areas of parts, we can assume that your cleaning process is most likely okay; it’s just that you're not getting good “cleaning action” on the internal diameters.
I think the answer is straightforward here. Consider ultrasonic cleaning. You can find vendors of this technology at pfonline.com. Of course, if you haven't done so already, it would also be helpful to talk with your chemical vendor regarding the cleaning process.
