Carlisle Fluid Technologies Acquires Hosco, IDS and Classic Precision

Carlisle Fluid Technologies has acquired Hosco Fittings, Integrated Dispense Solutions and Classic Precision.

Hosco is a privately held manufacturer of paint circulating and application finishing fittings, headquartered in Wixom, Michigan. IDS, based in Shelby Charter Township, Michigan, manufactures dispense systems and custom engineered fluid controls; and Wixom-based Classic Precision specializes in precision machining for aerospace and defense manufacturing processes.

“We are very excited about having Hosco, IDS and Classic Precision join CFT,” says Shelley Bausch, president of Carlisle Fluid Technologies. “Not only does this help us bring a broader, complementary product offering to our existing finishing customers, but it also allows us to expand into growing new markets that are a critical part of our vision.”

Hosco, IDS and Classic Precision offer a wide range of products, technology and capability to a number of end markets, including industrial finishing.

“CFT has a strong heritage in the liquid finishing business, driven by products and technology from our legacy Binks, DeVilbiss, Ransburg, BGK, and MS Powder brands,” says James Stephenson, vice president for Carlisle’s global business development. “The new CFT, in pursuit of our aggressive Vision 2025 growth goals, will be strategically expanding into other material application technologies, such as sealants and adhesives. These acquisitions represent the first of many steps in this exciting journey for us and our customers.”
