Question:
A customer has asked us about the feasibility of dying anodized titanium. I don’t think it can be done. My customer claims he has seen colored anodized items. Can you dye anodized titanium? H.S.
Answer:
You are right! The color observed on anodized titanium parts is not obtained by dying but instead is controlled by the voltage and time used during the anodizing step.
