Complete Wastewater Treatment Systems
Met-Chem to showcase complete wastewater treatment systems, from recovery to chemical treatment.
Met-Chem and its family of companies will showcase complete wastewater treatment systems from recovery to chemical treatment. Met-Chem’s equipment begins on the plating line with the recovery of zinc, nickel and/or chrome from rinses, using evaporative recovery with the Poly Products’ ET-III-W evaporative tank. Leftover wastewater from the plating line can then be sent to a standard Met-Chem Waste Treatment System which includes pH adjust, clarifier for solids settling, followed by a filter press for liquid solids separation that reduces the amount of sludge for disposal. The volume of solids generated by the filter press can be further reduced with a sludge dryer by as much as 4:1. Final polishing of the clarifier can be achieved by filtering through a multi-media filter manufactured by Met-Chem’s sister company, Lakeside Water Treatment. This filtered water can safely go to the POTW or be treated by the company’s ultrafiltration/reverse osmosis system for reclaiming the water for reuse.
