DS Manufacturing Changes Name to Lincoln Industries
This name change marks a continued strengthening of Lincoln Industries' position as the nation’s leading supplier of exhaust tubes in the United States, the company says.
DS Manufacturing has announced it will operate under the name Lincoln Industries
DS Manufacturing, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lincoln Industries located at Pine Island, Minnesota, is now operating under the same name as its parent company. This name change marks a continued strengthening of Lincoln Industries’ position as the leading supplier of exhaust tubes in the United States, the company says.
“When Lincoln Industries acquired DS Manufacturing two years ago, we were excited about how the people of DS would impact our success,” Lincoln chairman and CEO Marc LeBaron says. “The acquisition allowed us to leverage DS Manufacturing’s capabilities in small-diameter-tube fabrication and further strengthened Lincoln Industries. As a growth-oriented company, we are looking forward to expanding our capabilities and our workforce at Pine Island.” Since the acquisition, the company has increased its workforce by more than 30 people.
Lincoln Industries has been a provider of manufacturing, fabrication and metal finishing services for more than 65 years. “Changing the name of DS Manufacturing to Lincoln Industries will allow us to present a unified company image and unambiguous brand identity to our customers, vendors and, most importantly, our people,” LeBaron says.
