If you can believe it, the Parts Cleaning Conference 2023 has already rolled around. After being co-located with IMTS last year in September, this year’s conference is co-located with PMTS in Cleveland, Ohio. Being co-located offers many benefits and opportunities beyond everything the conference already offers, including access to the PMTS exhibit hall with your registration.
PCC features informative sessions covering different need-to-knows for the parts cleaning industry.
“This year’s PCC offers a unique opportunity for attendees to learn new information not covered in past conferences,” says Lori Beckman, senior editor of Production Machining and conference co-chair. “My co-chair Darren Williams and I strive to deliver an agenda that covers cleaning topics relevant to the diverse industry sectors that companies attending PMTS serve.”
Co-chairs Williams and Beckman are both deeply involved in the industry. Dr. Williams is a professor at Sam Houston State University with over two dozen research articles and a book chapter about parts cleaning under his belt. In addition to these feats, Dr. Williams has also worked with the EPA and DOD to identify, create and test azeotropic blend replacements in military vapor degreasing operations. Beckman is the senior editor for Production Machining magazine and is also the writer for the parts cleaning column in both Products Finishing and Production Machining. Beckman is also on the board of directors for the Manufacturing Cleaning Association.
The day kicks off at 8 a.m. on April 19th. Following the light breakfast provided, the PCC launches into informative sessions covering different need-to-knows for the parts cleaning industry. Key topics, from parts cleaning basics to rules and regulations, fill the day with education and insights. There will be a break for lunch, but the learning continues from there.
Beckman adds, “The conference offers presentations by an impressive lineup of the most knowledgeable industry experts who understand the cleaning issues pressing manufacturing companies today. We are honored and excited to share their expertise at the PCC 2023.”
PCC concludes with a networking and cocktail reception where you can connect with your peers in the industry.
The day will finish with an excellent networking opportunity through the cocktail reception. Recount your discoveries of the day or learn even more from your peers. The reception is all about celebrating the passionate individuals and community in the parts cleaning industry.
