Question: Can you point me in the right direction for a comparison between epoxy and polyester on the effects of UV on color?

Can you point me in the right direction for a comparison between epoxy and polyester on the effects of UV on color? D. B.

Answer:

Polyester will withstand exposure to UV light (sunlight) and epoxy will not. The color will fade and the surface will chalk fairly quickly, when epoxy powder coatings are exposed to UV light.
