President and CEO of Hubbard-Hall Inc., Molly Kellogg, led the workshop Rosie the Riveter in the 21st Century: Women Leaders in Manufacturing sponsored by the Women’s Business Development Council (WBDC) on Oct. 23 in Stamford, Connecicut.
The WBDC held its 14th Annual Business Breakfast at the Stamford Hilton. Fran Pastore, president/CEO of the WBDC, announced that WBDC recently received approval from the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Community Development Fund Initiative to become a financial lender.
Attendees heard perspectives on business, customer and management development in two breakout sessions: Rosie the Riveter in the 21st Century: Women Leaders in Manufacturing, with Kellogg and Maureen E. Hanley-Bellitto, United Bank senior vice president, Commercial Lending Fairfield County Division and Hug Your Customers: The Proven Way to Personalize Sales and Achieve Astounding Results with Jack Mitchell, Chairman, Mitchells Family of Stores.
