P3 Technologies, a Rochster, New York-based metal finishing company specializing in electroless nickel and anodizing, has rebranded as Forge Metal Finishing.

The name change signifies the company's incorporation of various capabilities from two separate companies – P3 Technologies and aScribe Laser Marking – through a new joint venture. Moving forward as Forge Metal Finishing, the company looks to reaffirm its position as a leading metal finisher that provides superior quality products through relentless ambition to solve any problem.

P3 Technologies’ President Mark Shaw joined laser marking company aScribe as an owner in 2000. He founded P3 Technologies in 2012. The companies have been operating in one facility since. Under the new joint venture, both metal finishing and laser marking capabilities will continue to be offered to customers. The new brand reflects progress and ingenuity that will strengthen your supply chain, while maintaining the same commitment to pristinely finished metal parts.

With the rebranding comes a redesigned website to match the new logo. The new site will include a blog that features company news, industry insights, and metal finishing best practices. While customers adjust to the name change, the old web address will redirect to the new site.

Since establishment, P3 has offered customers various metal finishing processes, including anodizing, passivating, and masking. Through the years, the company's expert team has also honed color matching capabilities that improve finished product consistency. Forge Metal Finishing will move forward with all of these capabilities and looks to expand in value-add metal finishing areas.

As an ISO 9001 and ITAR certified company, Forge serves industries such as Defense, Aerospace, Photonics, and Communications. The team understands that new problems occur constantly in these industries and they are driven to solve every challenge brought to them.

"Every member of our team is motivated – whether it's meeting tight deadlines or solving a complex design challenge, we are driven to succeed. That attitude won't change," says Shaw.
