Society of Vacuum Coaters Gains Affiliated Membership in the American Institute of Physics
As an AIP Affiliate, the SVC will be provided an opportunity to collaborate with complementary technical organizations and benchmark best practices as they strive to increase our value and relevance to our international base of stakeholders
On November 17 the American Institute of Physics (AIP) voted to endorse the Society of Vacuum Coaters’s application for Affiliated Membership in the AIP.
As an AIP Affiliate, the SVC will be provided an opportunity to collaborate with complementary technical organizations and benchmark best practices as they strive to increase our value and relevance to our international base of stakeholders, says Frank Zimone SVC Executive Director.
“We now have the opportunity to tap into an extensive network of professionals and services that were previously inaccessible to an organization of our size,” he says.
The SVC will be participating in the AIP Assembly of Society Officers meeting that will be held March 29 in Arlington, Virginia. SVC members will now have access to a comprehensive suite of insurance products that can be purchased through the American Physical Society Insurance Trust (APSIT).
