Deadline March 31 for 2024 Parts Cleaning Conference Speaker Submissions
Do you have an interest in speaking at the Parts Cleaning Conference in September at IMTS? Submit your abstract now!
Do you have a specific expertise that you can share with users of industrial parts cleaning equipment? Are you a user of cleaning equipment and have implemented an effective process or practice that you think your colleagues could benefit from knowing? Is there a current topic that the industrial cleaning community should address together? Whether you are employed by a cleaning OEM or work with parts cleaning equipment at a facility day in and day out, please consider sharing your knowledge with attendees of the 2024 Parts Cleaning Conference (PCC) by submitting an abstract for review at this link.
This year’s PCC, presented by Production Machining, Products Finishing, and Modern Machine Shop, will be held on Sept. 10, during the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) in Chicago.
The annual PCC offers a chance to network with colleagues who understand and appreciate your parts cleaning expertise and gives you the opportunity to teach others about parts cleaning processes and practices. Attending the PCC is guaranteed to be a learning experience for you, too.
Darren Williams and I are again co-chairing this event, and we are anxious to receive abstracts on new and different (than PCCs in past years) cleaning topics this year that are non-commercial. Although we hope to learn about what matters most to you, some topics to consider presenting include:
- A parts cleaning process success story in a problem/solution format as a case study
- How you overcame a challenge or discovered a new efficiency in your workflow
- Automation (cleaning, parts handling, inspection, etc.)
- General Industrial (rust removal, rust prevention, remanufacturing)
- Industry / market-specific cleaning to meet the needs of medical, automotive, aerospace, defense
- Regulatory requirements (regulatory pressures and regulatory responses)
- Sustainability (energy use reduction, cost reduction, environmental stewardship, safer alternatives, waste reduction)
- Alternative cleaning methods (carbon dioxide, laser, other)
- Challenging materials cleaning (short sessions on cleaning difficult parts / 3D printed parts / plastics
We are thrilled that the conference is co-located with IMTS again in this even-numbered year. IMTS is the largest manufacturing technology show in the Western Hemisphere and attracts thousands of attendees who cover a range of manufacturing industries that necessitate parts cleaning. You’ll meet professionals who own and/or manage CNC machine shops in some capacity and may also incorporate metalworking processes such as additive manufacturing/3D printing, abrasive machining/finishing, fabricating and lasers as well as gear generation. Learn more about IMTS here: imts.com
The Call for Papers will be open until March 31. Apply now to be considered as a speaker at this popular event.
The PCC staff looks forward to creating an informative and insightful speaker lineup for the manufacturing cleaning industry!
