Axalta Reports Most Popular Car Color
Axalta Coating Systems 69th annual Global Automotive Color Popularity Report, reveals the most popular automotive color in North America.
2022 Mustang Mach-E in the most popular color in the world: white. (It is actually Premium Ice White.) The roof is available with the second most popular color: black.

In fact, of all of those geographic markets, white, gray and black are the dominant colors.
In North America, gray is second at 21%, followed by black, 20%.
The Axalta researchers found that although on a global basis white accounts for 35% (of that it is 21% solid white and 14% pearl white), it declined from the last survey by 3%.
But the global dominance of the color is unmistakable as black and gray are both back at 19%.
The global palette opens up down in the single-digit range: 9% silver, 8% blue, 5% red, 3% brown/beige, 1% green, 1% yellow/gold.
