Color Consultant Joins ChemQuest Team

The ChemQuest Group, a global consulting firm focused on tailored business strategy and optimization, technology acceleration, market intelligence and M&A advisory services for the specialty materials industry, has appointed Montaha Hidefi as color consultant.
In this role, Hidefi will draw on 25 years of specialty chemicals, coatings, pigments and color consulting experience to support clients in ChemQuest’s business strategy & transformation and technology development pillars.
Hidefi’s comprehensive background includes expertise in international marketing, powder coatings, and color analysis and forecasting with companies such as Rohm and Haas Co. (now Dow), Merck Group and Tiger Drylac. She founded Color Landing Studio in 2018 and established the concept of Color Archeology in 2020. Color Archeology encompasses observation of societal trends, analysis of their current impact and predictions for how the trends will evolve into the future.
“Montaha takes an analytical and investigative approach when developing color forecast projections that are both client- and industry-centric,” says Daniel Murad, ChemQuest CEO. “This approach, coupled with her strong background and understanding of the specialty chemicals and coatings industries, is perfectly suited to serving our clients in identifying trends and developing color strategies to support growth.”
Hidefi earned masters’ degrees in international business from the University of Wollongong in Dubai, United Arab Emirates; business administration from the University of Sherbrooke in Quebec, Canada; and translation from the University of Damascus in Syria. She is fluent in English, French, Spanish, Arabic and Italian.
