Techevon LLC (Fort Mill, S.C.) opened a Global Innovation Center in Elk Grove Village, Ill. The 15,000 square foot facility includes an R&D lab with a pilot line, wet chemistry stations, and a center for customer learning and innovation. The company will offer existing specialized services, including testing for UV/weathering, corrosion, wear/hardness, and heat resistance from this location. Additionally, the center will offer full-service metallurgical cross-sectioning and ICP mass spectrometry analysis as new services.
The 10,000-square-foot on-site warehouse will enable the company to supply customers more efficiently. Its business operations and laboratory testing/R&D transitioned to the new Elk Grove location this summer. The warehouse is currently being built and scheduled to be fully operational by fall 2024. The company also offers anodizing support services to provide complete and thorough lab analysis to help anodizers optimize their colors, chemistry and processes.
