Mark Geusic, a founder of Optimum Anode Technologies, passed away on Dec. 17 at age 63. A funeral mass to celebrate his life was held December 22 at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
From Mark’s family:
“Mark graduated from Kean University in 1978 with a Bachelors of Arts in Trade and Industrial Arts. Mark found his way working for Engelhard Corporation of Union, NJ in the early 1980’s. Working in the sales & marketing of the precious metal oxide coatings, Mark grew his knowledge of the product line and his customer base. After a few years working with Engelhard, Marks entrepreneurial ambitions were too hard to hold back and he started his own division within Electrode Products. He grew Electrode Products to a very successful business after eight years and later sold his company to Siemens Water Technology. After nearly eight years of working as the president of the anode division for Siemens Electrocatalytic, Mark once again, had further ambitions and left them. In 2008 he formed a partnership with TITAN Metal Fabricators and together started Optimum Anode Technologies.
Mark was the quintessential Salesman. He traveled the world many times in a year and was his customers’ best advocate to making sure they received their products with the utmost quality and in a timely manner. He was the technical salesman that the Chlor-Alkali and Water Treatment Industry personnel got to know and trust with all of his knowledge. He gave his heart and soul and millions of Frequent Flyer Miles to his profession.”
