PPG, Glidden Name 2023 Color of the Year
PPG and Glidden’s color of choice is Vining Ivy, a blue-green hue that the company says can punctuate a home’s personality.
PPG (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) announces that Glidden paint by PPG has named its 2023 Color of the Year as Vining Ivy, a blue-green hue that the company says can punctuate a home’s personality.
According to PPG, DIYers looking to save money and time can benefit from choosing Vining Ivy in Glidden Diamond paint and primer, which PPG says is the only one-coat paint starting under $30. Available exclusively at The Home Depot, a gallon of Glidden Diamond paint can reportedly cover an average-sized room in one coat while also offering exceptional hide and scrubbability.
PPG also recommends tinting Speedhide Pro-EV Zero interior latex paint with Vining Ivy. A durable, zero-volatile organic compound (VOC) product designed for new and repaint applications where speed is most important, Speedhide Pro-EV Zero paint can be applied in spaces while occupied, enabling painters to make quick work of interior projects without sacrificing quality. For painters working with customers looking to add a colorful, washable coating to walls, PPG recommends PPG UltraLast Interior Paint + Primer, which the company says delivers unprecedented washability ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, hallways and more.
The company’s color experts say Vining Ivy is the color of choice for both the Glidden and PPG paint brands in 2023.
