Spartek, a manufacturer with over 60 years of experience in the plastics industry, has completed its acquisition of Marca Coating Technologies, bringing together two of North America’s vacuum metallizing companies. Marca Coating Technologies will operate under the name Marca Technologies going forward.

“Marca Technologies is an extraordinary company, with an amazing team and engineering capabilities,” says George Parke IV, CEO, Spartek. “Together, we have the ability to produce high-volume, low-cost vacuum metallized products domestically for a variety of industries and markets.”

The company says it comes equipped with a highly skilled and qualified production team. “This has allowed us to hit the ground running, and we cannot wait to see what our future holds!” Parke adds.

Sparktek says the Marca Technologies acquisition is a great fit because of its passion for operating innovative, large-scale metallizing and coating lines.  With Marca Technologies’ addition, Spartek now operates four fully automated, high-speed, inline metallizing and coating lines with immediate plans for expanding capacity and capabilities.
