Women in Finishing Webinar: Living & Leading Through the Storms of Life

 

The COVID-19 pandemic is changing the way we work and live, but Women in Finishing will not be deterred. Women in Finishing is a group within the Chemical Coaters Association International (CCAI). The upcoming Women in Finishing forum had to be rescheduled due to the pandemic, but they are offering a free webinar Friday, April 24 as a prelude to next year’s forum.

Living and Leading Through the Storms of Life is the topic of the webinar, hosted by leadership development coaches Dr. Amber Selking and Kim Lisiak of the Lippert Academy of Leadership. Both were going to present at the 2020 forum and are now expected to present at the 2021 forum. Dr. Selking presented “Developing a Championship Mindset” at the 2019 Women in Finishing forum, and we are excited to see what new insights she will share.

The webinar promises to explore leadership topics, including:

• The five storms of human life
• The change cycle
• The three steps to navigating control in your life
• The impact of our control tendencies and how to appropriately surrender
• The four domains of human energy and ways to stay “filled up”
