Exair’s Sanitary Flange Line Vac air-operated conveyors feature sanitary flanges designed to limit areas where bacteria can grow, helping to prevent contamination and making the conveyors well-suited for use in systems that require frequent or mandatory cleaning.
Made from type 316 stainless steel, the conveyors are available in 1-1/2", 2", 2-1/2" and 3" flange sizes. The systems’ larger size is said to make them ideal for conveying bigger parts and large volumes of material over long distances.
The conveyors eject a small amount of compressed air to produce a vacuum on one end and high output flows on the other. Response is instantaneous, and regulating the compressed air pressure provides control of the conveying rate, the company says.Related Content
