Hemco manufactures a variety of canopy hoods designed to capture and exhaust fumes or steam that are corrosive, heated or of a noxious odor. Typical locations are above water baths, hot plates, cleaning stations, drums, welding applications and operations generating heat. Available in molded composite resin or type 304 stainless steel in either wall-mount or island-suspended styles, the hoods are chemical-resistant and flame-retardant, and can be equipped with side and/or rear panels to prevent cross drafts and better contain fumes. The canopy also is equipped with an integral exhaust duct connection collar.
