Global Finishing Solutions (GFS, Osseo, Wis.) has introduced a new high-end filter solution for paint booths in high-volume shops including collision repair shops, industrial manufacturers and aircraft finishers.
Known as GFS Poly, the filter has a holding capacity of 4.4 pounds and 99.9 percent removal efficiency rating, and is said to provide long-lasting performance, reduced long-term cost and increased paint shop productivity. According to GFS, the new filter produces little to no paint run-off, results in a cleaner working environment and less time spent cleaning run-off. The company says the exhaust filter’s unique, two-layer construction also reduces face loading for long-lasting performance and less filter changes.
GFS Poly exhaust filters can be used with a variety of applications, including solvent-based paints, stains, high solid paints, multi-component coatings and water-based paints. It is designed to accommodate booths of all sizes and designs, and is available in pads or rolls in multiple size options including a 60-foot-long roll. Using the 60-foot roll, automotive body shops with dual-row exhaust pits can achieve a complete change-out with just one roll. GFS also offers a 63-foot roll of GFS Poly, enabling customers to cut their own filter pads.
GFS Poly exhaust filters comply with NFPA 33, OSHA and UL 900 standards.
