Haviland Enterprises Partners with LANXESS Corporation to Distribute Disinfectant

Haviland Enterprises Inc. (Grand Rapids, Mich.), a supplier of chemistry for cleaning, plating and other applications, has launched Rely+On Virkon. Rely+On Virkon is a broad-spectrum hard surface disinfectant designed to be effective against a variety of highly infectious viruses.

Rely+On Virkon kills viruses, including those similar to the virus that causes COVID-19, when used according to the directions for use against Hepatitis A Virus and Norovirus on hard, non-porous surfaces. Rely+On Virkon is produced for use in the medical field, laboratories, schools and industrial facilities and distributed through a partnership with LANXESS Corporation. The dry powdered product is diluted to a 1% - 2% liquid disinfectant to be used in spray, sponge, or brush applications. The LANXESS Rely+On Virkon product is EPA-registered to kill a variety of human pathogens, including Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), HIV, H1N1, E. Coli O157:H7 and Salmonella enterica.
