MacDermid Enthone’s Enseal 4BRK is an ELV-compliant clear, water-based inorganic sealer for use on electroplated, zinc and zinc-nickel finishes. According to the company, the solution is completely chromium-free on makeup and gives corrosion resistance when applied over TriPass ELV trivalent chromium passivates. It is said the sealer’s final deposit is completely free from droplets or ‘tears,’ making the final result, a thin colorless film with increased corrosion resistance that displays the initial bright appearance of the original coating on the surface.
