Metalor Offers Alloy Plating Process for Electronic Components
Metalor recently introduced new Platinum Ruthenium alloy plating process.
Metalor recently introduced new Platinum Ruthenium alloy plating process. PreciousFab HP 3000 produces thick deposits without cracking due to low stress. The deposits obtained from PreciousFab HP 3000 reportedly have high hardness, excellent corrosion resistance and wear performance. End-use applications include electronic components such as contacts for connectors and ceramic materials, as well as decorative applications.

Calculating Applied Media Force During Vibratory Finishing
What appear to be identically set-up vibratory bowls will finish identical loads of parts in varying time cycles. This paper offers a new technique to better predict what the operator will produce, by measuring the force applied to the parts. It is the efficiency of that force which controls the efficiency and speed of the refinement cycle.
