Poly Products’ Atmospheric Evaporator is designed operate at ambient to moderately low temperatures, allowing safe evaporation of water from plating solutions, rinse water for recovery of plating metals or wastewater. Adding on the ET-Companion condenser creates a closed-loop system through which cool, dry air exhausted from the condenser is then ducted back into the inlet of the evaporator. The condenser recovers virtually all the water that is evaporated for reuse in the form of distilled water. There is no need for exhaust ducting, no air quality permits required and no need for air make-up, the company says.
