Tri-Mer Offers 15 Lines of Wet, Dry Air-Pollution Control
Tri-Mer Corp. offers 15 lines of air-pollution-control equipment, in both wet and dry configurations.
Tri-Mer Corp. offers 15 lines of air-pollution-control equipment, in both wet and dry configurations.
Wet equipment includes the chemical-free Fan/Separator, which scrubs corrosive fumes using less water than traditional scrubbers; Crossflow, which scrubs inorganic compounds and maintains stack emissions to specific levels; odor-control systems that can simultaneously handle particulate and other inorganic compounds and reactive materials; and the C/E-1 chrome scrubber, which is highly efficient for all forms of chrome regardless of loading, and does not consume chemicals or generate waste. The Whirl/Wet is a self-cleaning wet dust collector often specified for its very low water use, and highly efficient operation for particulate 3 microns and larger. The company also offers the Tri-NOx Multi-Chem system for removal of nitrogen oxides.
Dry technology includes the Tri-flow MERV 16 dry dust collector for submicron particulate and fumes.Related Content

NASF/AESF Foundation Research Project #122: Electrochemical Approaches to Treatment of PFAS in Plating Wastewater - 7th Quarterly Report
The NASF-AESF Foundation Research Board has selected a project on addressing the problem of PFAS and related chemicals in plating wastewater streams, studying PFAS destruction via electrooxidation and electrocoagulation. Our last report described the results from experiments of EO with a Magnéli phase Ti4O7 anode on the degradation of eight perfluoroalkyl acids (PFAAs). In this seven quarter report, we describe work to further explore how the degradation of different PFAAs are related to their molecular structures.
