The COVID pandemic forced everyone to change their work and personal routines. So many networking events and in-person meetings were sidelined by quarantines and travel restrictions. As the business world continues to navigate the road to recovery, the third quarter of 2021 saw the return of trade shows, many of which were put on hiatus in 2020. The return to events feels like a much-needed morale boost for the manufacturing community.
This photo from FABTECH at Chicago’s McCormick Place in September shows a show floor bustling with attendees adhering to COVID safety protocols. The photo was heroically captured by Products Finishing digital editor Sarah Barnett with a little help from industrial equipment supplier LPI Lift Systems (Eau Claire, Wisc.).
