IFCS Panel Offers OEM Perspective on Finishing Industry
The International ThermProcess Summit (ITPS) and International Finishing & Coatings Summit (IFCS) will feature presentations and panel discussions designed to give participants a glimpse into OEM perspectives on manufacturing today, and for the future.
Actions and initiatives implemented by OEMs have significant impact on supplier operations. The International ThermProcess Summit (ITPS) and International Finishing & Coatings Summit (IFCS) taking place later this month in Atlanta, Georgia, will feature presentations and panel discussions designed to give participants a glimpse into OEM perspectives on manufacturing today, and for the future.
One of the IFCS breakout sessions will be a panel discussion of OEM perspectives specifically on the finishing industry. Three experts from the aerospace, marine and agriculture industries will share their insights on the finishing arena, including trends, quality/performance requirements, manufacturing technologies, purchasing processes and more. Scheduled to participate are Anteneh Kebbede, GE Global Research; Chris Misorski, Mercury Marine; and Mark Prehar, AGCO. A moderated discussion with attendees will conclude the session.
The Chemical Coaters Association and Products Finishing are sponsoring the IFCS in conjunction with ITPS July 30–August 1, at the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta hotel.
