PRAB Adds Evaled Evaporative Line, Enters Wastewater Treatment Sector
Partnering with Italian company Veolia to market and support the exclusive Evaled line of evaporative technology in North America.
PRAB, which develops material handling and chip and fluid management solutions for manufacturers, has expanded into wastewater treatment and introducing its partnership with Italian company Veolia to market and support the exclusive Evaled line of evaporative technology in North America.
Wastewater treatment through evaporation is an efficient, clean, chemical free way to separate emulsified oils and suspended solids from wastewater, said Tim Hanna, Managing Director of PRAB Fluid Filtration-Wastewater Treatment Division.
Evaporation is selected for wastewater treatment applications when other filtration methods, such as Ultrafiltration, cannot reduce the level of VOC or other compounds contaminating wastewater. The evaporation process breaks the unwanted compounds and cleanly separates it from wastewater, allowing for high efficiency water reclamation and solids extraction.
PRAB has published a new brochure on Fluid Filtration that can be downloaded HERE.
