Standard Plating joins with Independent Plating
Standard Plating Inc. of West Springfield. MA has announced they will become part of Worcester metal finishing company Independent Plating.
Standard Plating is a third-generation, family-run business that began in 1966 by founder Adam Nahorniak. Michael Nahorniak, president of Standard Plating, will become general manager at Independent Plating. The two companies have had a business relationship for the past few months.
Independent Plating will add three of Standard's six employees. The new combined organization will operate out of Independent Plating's 140,000-square-foot facility on New Street in Worcester. Independent Plating employs about 60 at its Worcester location.
Both companies specialize in metal finishing services, including molding various types of materials into uses for furniture or casings.
