Will the internal trivalent chromate conversion coatings that are not protected by the CARC paint degrade and become less non-conductive or resistant to corrosion?
After about 18 months of exposure, the powder coating has deteriorated and broken down. There are areas where the coating is blistering, and exposed metal is beginning to rust. Can you give us any advice or information as to why the coating may have broken down in such a short length of time?
